Madrid Gathering Promotes Dialogue and Diversity

Madrid brought together faith representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to celebrate cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence. The dialogue included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and human Human Rights rights educator Denise González. Speakers offered reflections from faith, culture and public service on how mutual knowledge can reduce prejudice.

Throughout the gathering, participants considered themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
